Volvo had a number of priorities when they created the Volvo XC60. They wanted a smooth ride and great interior features. However, the various performance packages have really stood out. Even the standard engine inclusion of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 250 horsepower is more than enough for most drivers. You can upgrade to the turbocharged and supercharged option. There is also a plug-in hybrid model available, known as the T8 trim level. The T8 combines the supercharged engine from the T6 with an electric motor and a 10.4-kWh lithium-ion battery.

Fuel efficiency is incredibly impressive. The T5 and T6 trim levels can both achieve ratings of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The plug-in hybrid achieves approximately 58 MPGe and 26 mpg combined. This is a solid vehicle that keeps up with its competitors on the road.
